Miraj Islamic School partners with the NYC Office of Pupil Transportation (OPT) to provide eligible students free, safe and reliable transportation services.

Each year, the OPT designates bus stops based on our student population distribution. Students residing near the select stops are eligible to receive free yellow bus transportation in the mornings for drop-off and afternoons for pick-up.

Yellow buses operate primarily during full school days and pre-determined early dismissals. Please note that the schedule may vary.

For students who are not eligible for free yellow bus service, Miraj Islamic School provides Student MetroCards at no cost. Student MetroCards are good on MTA subways and non-express buses for three trips and three transfers.
